
The rock on its way.
The contrarian was able to view the massive effort to move a boulder being used in Michael Heizner's Levitated Mass environmental artwork outside of Los Angeles. What was really wonderful though, were the folk that turned out to watch, in spite of the darkness (it could only move during late evening and early morning hours) and the fact that its only a rock, albeit a big rock at 340 tons. Pretty, pretty, pretty cool...
